This is an analog voltmeter with a FET (Field Effect Transistor) to provide minimal circuit loading and sensitivity. Many analog voltmeters have a 20,000 ohms per volt input resistance, but this meter has 2-12 megohms internal resistance. You will need to zero both the meter circuit and the FET circuit when using this meter.
